Project Management

Project management and best practices to improve business performance

Infrastructure projects

The importance of infrastructure projects to any economy is the cornerstone of its development, growth and prosperity.

No investments take place unless there are sufficient and of good standards reliable infrastructure projects which can fuel the economy and guarantee returns of investments.

Especially in the Middle East countries, the lack of important infrastructure projects reduces the direct investment to these countries and deprive thousands of workplaces around the region.

Our company can contribute in the creation of consortiums with contractors and engage in negotiations with governments in order to bring the parties together and strike a deal in a win-win situation.

We are working closely with all stakeholders to achieve the best financing schemes in a long lasting relationship.

Such projects include but are not limited to:

  • Power plants (combined Circle technology)
  • Refineries
  • Cement factories
  • Roads & Bridges
  • Water Dams
  • Train Networks

Desalination and Purification projects

We participated in tenders with the water department for the desalination project in Limassol, Cyprus. The method used was Reverse Osmosis (RO). We put the consortium together which consisted of a technical company experienced in the field from Italy, a construction company from Cyprus and an electromechanical company also from Cyprus. We had the responsibility to engage with the Cyprus Authorities and to coordinate the parties in an effort to provide a solid bid.

We participated in a consortium for tertiary water treatment plans. This included the design, erection, installation, testing and commissioning including long term maintenance agreement.

We can apply similar technologies and requirements based on a tailor customer made project in any country.

Project management for Infrastructure Projects: Power Plants, Refineries, Desalination plants, MSW-Municipal Solid Waste projects, Renewable Energy Projects and Real Estate Projects

Waste Management

We have been involved since 2003 in the process of the construction and management of facilities for MSW. We have built the consortium and visited similar factories in Italy and Germany where either the production of Gray or Green compost is taking place with pre-sorting the other recyclable materials (like glass, paper, plastic and metals) or the burning of the RDF (Residue Dry Fuel) with the producing of Electricity or Hot water-steam for Residential or Industrial use. Both solutions Waste to compost or Waste to energy can be proposed

We can provide you options or proposals for such projects. Of course we can adapt the solution to the budget and requirements as long as the EC directives on the treatment of waste are respected

We can also engage in the rehabilitation (to re-establish the environment to its original form) of landfills as demanded by the EU

Compost production

The proposed facility is designed to process MSW, achieving the following targets:

Recover recyclable materials such as:

  • paper and cardboard
  • film and hard plastics
  • glass
  • ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • aluminum

Dry and stabilize the organic fraction of the waste in order to:

  • reduce quantities to be disposed of in landfills (process losses)
  • reduce landfills environmental impact (very long lasting biogas and leachate generation)
  • produce a “low grade” compost to be used in land reclamation
  • reduce masses and volumes of output materials (recyclables and rejects)

The plant comprises the main following subsystems:

  • Waste receiving and shredding (bags opening shredder)
  • Manual pre-sorting of non processable materials
  • Organic fraction screening
  • Organic fraction drying and stabilization bio-tunnels
  • Organic fraction refining unit
  • Manual sorting of recyclables materials
  • High-density bailing of sorted materials and rejects
  • Automatic sorting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Dust control by bag filtration
  • Odor control by bio-filtration

Production of RDF/SRF

RDF- Refuse Derived Fuel (solid fuel derived from waste that can be used in combustion units for heat and/or electric energy production).

Apart from producing compost either Green or Grey pending on the quality of the waste and their composition (it affects the calorific value), more and more countries are processing the waste after minor selective pre-sorting of out of size materials, they stabilize it and then they produce RDF which then is burn for or the production of electricity. The remains of the burning and ash are then buried in the land fill.

We as a company can propose to our customers both ways in order to deal with Municipal Solid Waste (MSW).
